We just completed a thorough redesign of the popular Agpro collection ditch covers. These models continue to automatically accept large volume flushing while allowing cow and vehicle access to lanes during non-use times, while substantially increasing the vehicle bearing capacity. Vehicle weight allowance has been more than doubled to over 5,000 lbs (2250 kg) per wheel. When tested at these loads we measured negligible deflection of the lid.
During this update, we simplified and strengthened the overall frame as well as the lid. The cover is still fabricated from slip-resistant steel diamond plate. Units to fit any length channel are still available in hinged manual operations, hinged air and vertical rise air configurations. Overall cost is similar the the superseded designs.
